Default My eyes are bleeding. This is the result

A couple of months ago, after a long hiatus and a bad divorce, I thought I would get back to flying helis. Since I wasn't familiar with torque tube or flybarless, I ordered an hk 450 pro belt drive.
turnigy plush 40 amp esc
Hitec hs-65hb cyclics
power hb digital on the tail.from hk.(i know, i should have looked at the reviews before i ordered.)
hk's helidrive competition motor. (I liked the color, what can I say?)
Flymentor with hand held programmer.
I built it in several afternoons, locktite on all the bolts, checked for binds, twists, that sort of thing, set up my trusty dx6i, went outside and hovered it with just a little trim.
Then i came back in , went to ivor hills sticky, installed flymentor, changed the radio settings, and WALA! I hovered again.

Its a little jerky. Just needs trimming a bit mechanically.

You guys have been amazing help..
I did wind up putting the gyro upside down, (i didnt feel like going through all the settings again)
Now I have a question.
I set up flymentor with the green wire plugged into my receiver, setting up the tail gain with my radio. (built a turntable out of a harddrive for that)
Now that it is holding well, can I switch to the blue wire and use my radio to adjust the gain to flymentors cyclic controls without it effecting my tail?
Thanks in advance for your kind attention, and all the effort you guys have put in to educating old geezers like me.

Afraid not. Once you disconnect the green wire the tail will no longer be recieving setting from for TX so you would have to set up the tail and set the gain value useing you hand held controller. Well done for building a turntable.
If you are a beginner dont be in a hurry to change things if the heli is flying well have some fun first. Good luck
