Smile SPARTAN VIBRATION ATTEN KIT ON THE 3G SENSOR

Hi Friends, I test today this kit on my Trex 500 3G and works amazing, no more slow drift in the tail, I can increase my gyro gain, FBL works muh better and stable.

If you going to use this kit put the tick 2 side tape in the sensor, put the metal plate and the foam in the bottom, use the Align velcro to get the sensor firm, I got the sensor on the bottom platre and the receiver in the plastic receiver mount.

works so amazing in inverted flights on windy day.

If you got problems with the 3G sensor this kit can help you a lot, works a lot better than the Align 2 side tape.

In this store link you can see the kit or buy it, I live like 12 minutes close to the store Great service!!!

Here is the Test, Enjoy!!! :glasses2:

Hey Dale-Pabajo The 500 got the plastic gyro plate, I use them for the receiver, the manual say to use this for the sensor but this plate is flexible and when I go full throttle the elevator move a little.

Hi Marktheheliman, Here are some Pics!!! Hope this can help

Let's post this here as well..

I got to try it today! There was some wind (maybe 4-5 meters/sec?) and I had practically no problems with this setup. The minor problems that I had is that this helicopter has insane power! Well, compared to 450 PRO anyway. I was running the 500 with 500M and Hyperion VX G3 35C 3300 mAh battery. I started with the aileron and elevator gains at about 12 o'clock, and it seemed may a tad shaky so I increased aileron gain to about 1 o'clock. I also decreased the gyro gain from 40 to 35.

I have a Kontronik Jive 80LV.

I made sure the cable stays in place by using some tape:

Got à spartan kit in my toolbox. Just fitted the sensor like yours. Very curious. Mine was flying fine on reciever tray, except for the tail. Gain was to low and bounced à bit.

Will post results.

Result; sux tail holds better but it's waggy. Gain 68% (spektrum).

Gonna try add delay, then remove velcro.

I wonder what I am going to use to mount on my 450 Pro, which is nearing completion. I have Spartan foam and metal plate for my spare Quark. I am thinking just one thick Spartan foam, then strap it down, since this is a smaller 450, and the 3G sensor already has a metal plate in the bottom. If that doesn't work well, I will experiment to find a better solution.

I don't see a reason to 'strap it down'. Mine is set up as in the photo above. No bondage of any kind.

I'm a happy customer. Today I flew one pack in a relatively brisk gusty wind. A friend measured the wind with a portable meter, and we got readings as high as 6-7 meters / second (13-16 mph). Sometimes it was relatively calm. 500 handled quite evenly, some unexpected upwards/downwards movements, but not that much. I didn't notice any unexpected tilting as such. Credit also belongs to Kontronik Jive, no doubt.

I flew some circles and eights, pretty slowly, so nothing fancy.

Default SPARTAN VIBRATION ATTEN KIT ON THE 3G SENSOR

Using only the thick pad and no strap works great now. Low tail gain but holds nicely. Think it's becouse sensor is much closer to the center.
