SOUTHERN ROTARY CLASSIC 2014
Ok guys it's past time to start generating some excitement for the SRC this year. I have purposely chosen to post only pertinent information less I be accuse of just posting constantly, just to see my name in print.
The event is on schedule for the 3rd weekend of September, it will be held in the SAME place as the past 4 years, south of Mt. Pleasant and just northwest of Pittsburg TX at broach park. Still keeping an eye out for a more idea spot and have some possibilities but with the extra amount of rain we have been having this year felt that this was still the best location available to us at this time. Some may not like it as much as some others but we have had some really fun times especially for night flying. Which we plan to do more night flying again this year as well.We are going to keep the event simple with non sponsored demo contest and auto contest and that is it as far as events. We would like to concentrate on flying and more flying and just having fun.The event will primary be on Saturday, some will be arriving on Friday but we are going to let everyone take care of themselves that day.It has been raining a lot more then normally this year so the field is greener then in the past and I am going to try to accommodate the guys with some extra things to help make staging easier.Some of you might be at Ircha or headed that way, have fun, wish I was going this year but not going to be able to make it this year but I do plan to return there as well. Hopefully we will see all you southern guys for the SRC in another 5 weeks. Hey Terry. You guys have a great time, it is killing me to not be able to attend this years event due to work. The past three years were a blast at SRC. This is a don't miss event, hope to be back in 2015.

I don't know when preregistration was supposed to end, but the page looks generally screwed up. I'll check with Terry.
