After an emergency trip to the LHS to replace a dodgy glow plug....

Heya!

You have made a very good choice! You will not be dissapointed!

I personally use 600mm, I like the snappier feel they produce over the 620mm.. There's pros and cons to each size,

600 - More snappier, Sacrafice a bit of Auto performance
620 - More stable, better auto performance

Each blade is different mind you. Try both if you can! - And see what you like!

Well I picked up my Fury 55 today, so I'm joining this party. Gotta say the machining on the parts is fantastic. Looks even better in person. Good stuff!!!!

Say what did you do with the two 3x6mm socket head bolts that you removed from the forward frame spacer and left tail pulley block? My gyro plate was "missing" the two 3x6 bolts on the left, non-clamping side, so I just put the removed bolts in there. Also, did you have two dog point set screws in your tail rotor hub hardware? I only have one, but there are two dimples in the tail shaft and the instructions show two. I'm up to installing the tail rotor assembly now, and other than those minor issues, it's been very enjoyable!

Hi There, Sorry for the really late reply! I've been a tad busy with life..

I had all the required parts. Unfortuantly these things happen! I'm sorry that it has!

There's two grub screws you need for the tail shaft, One is a dog point, the other a standard one.

Please give bgjames111 a PM explaining what is missing, and he will get the required hardware sent out without issue.

going through this makes me want to build another one....perhaps a flybarless version this time????

this heli was just sooo easy to build.....a pleasure. just like my raptor 30 when i went to set up the head, after i centered the servos, i think out of all the linkages, i had to maybe turn two of them 1 turn each and it was perfect 0 at mid and equal +/-! i was almost disappointed, almost....lol
