It is belt driven tail. Haven't flown it yet, but a friend has one and loves it. I doubt the 600 pro can compare to the fury.

I own and fly both.

The Fury 55 definitely flys "smoother" then the T-Rex.

It's tough for me to do a direct comparison: My T-Rex has some very tired Airtronics Cyclic servos, an old GY611 and GV-1 Gyro/Governor, and only has a YS50 in it. While the Fury 55 has a YS56, Futaba BLS451s, and a GY701.... So it's got an equipment advantage right off the bat.

Quality of the machine is excellent and ease of building/maintaining is on par with T-Rex 600N. I do wish the Fury 55 wasn't so tail heavy, you'll need to run a hefty 3000mAH LiFe pack in order to get COG close.

Customer service on the Fury 55 is excellent: I crashed mine and bent both the guide pins in the rotor head. I emailed MA and they had me mail in the head and replaced both the pins and only charged me for return shipping and the cost of the pins (Very little). If this was Align, I would be shelling out the $40+ for a whole new head just get the two pins fixed.

I just got mine finnished last weekend and took it for a flight on sunday. I have had to do no trimming at all, it flys spot on out the box no vibes or shakes. (the only heli i've had that has)

A 600 or 55, They both cost about the same to repair belive it or not, but the fury will last ALOT longer then the 600, the fury flys more accurate then the 600 but both are nice flyers for my rather meager sportish flying.

If you can aford it get a fury, you won't look back

Regards
Joe

thats in reference to the receiver pack.

+1 for the fury. granted ive never seen an align 600, but the fury is just NICE! the fit and finish is outstanding. ive havent had to talk to customer service yet, but everything ive read tells me that they are top notch and did i mention it flies like it is on rails?

fury all the way!

Finished my build this week. OS 55HZ-H w/ Hatori pipe. Smooth. Its by far the best kit I've built. One very nice heli. I using Hyperion LiFe 3000 maH packs with Align servos and GP780 gyro. The workmanship and attention to detail of MA is amazing. The machined parts are works of art.

I'm stocked up on fuel and if the WEATHER would just cooperate......
