Default DJI - WKH USERS: check could prevent lose the IMU

Hi,
I would like to report a fault which was recently presented to who sees fit to make the necessary checks.
The system was mounted before on a converted T-rex 700 gasser, then never got around to putting it in the fuselage, so I caved and started a new project: a VARIO Jet ranger with 29 cc petrol engine.
Before replacing the WKH about this machine I have tested the heli with a simple gyroscope.
Than removed the gyro and I started testing with the WKH.
I started having problems with the tail that was moving erratically back to tour the heli, I redid the configuration controls, and all evidence of the servo etc and it was all OK, get on and quickly the first engine accelerated the problem returns. Reported to workbench were checked all connections and discovered that randomly touching the cable coming out from the IMU: was giving me reporting on the PC that was disconnected, with also the Green LED flashes twice.
Therefore I remove the IMU and to check whether there are any interruptions; I proceed upon opening the box. Operation is not easy because over the two screws there are two hooks that have been blocked with glue at the factory. I reduced glue with the dremel to the point of being able to open partially the box.

I found inside: 3 cables of 4 with little stiff where they angled to 90° on main board and the white cable there was a slight darkening inside.
The reason was the copper cut inside the insulation, with no nick evidence on the sheath.

As a result I unsoldered the four cables from the plate, I cut to 3-4 cm approx and soldered again. The four lengths of cables removed had checked with tester meter: three out of four were sheared, made contact only by bending or lightly bent 90° . Before closing I locked everything with hot glue and redid the fairlead.
The problem is due to the failure of the grey cable fairlead, who once eat by vibrations became loose and lets main cable freely to move in and out the box so able to send vibrations on interior non-sheathed cables in the manner them could cut by fatigue.

BEFORE THIS HAPPENS, TO PREVENT A IMU LOST WITH CATASTROPHIC RESULT IN FLIGHT, CHECK BY TIME THE MAIN CABLE IF IT COULD FREELY MOVE IN-OUT THE IMU’S FAULTY GREY FAIRLEAD. THIS SINGLE CENT $ IMU PART COULD BECAME AN X,000 $ INCIDENT OR BRING YOU TO PAY $600 FOR A NEW SPARE ONE..

someone found the same defect on its own WKH/IMU?
Or mine was a rare case?
