I also have one voltz 2650, just make sure you mount it as foward as you can to have proper Cg, since flybarless is very sensitive to that. On my beastx i have control beavior set to transmitter, pitching up and tail to medium, stick deadband set to 1, tail precomp off, cyclic response high and pitch boost off. On my transmitter i have both aileron and elevator set to 5% expo and tail to 15%. Travel adjust is 115 to ail and elev and 100 to tail.
I have to add 75g of metal where the Lipo is to get balance . i have control behavior set to transmitter too , and just test 15% expo to ELe , Ail, and Tail . will bring it down next time ,, about Cyclic Response I only try Slightly Increased ( Red Flashing ) for sure need to crank up a not or 2 . try to tune the Tail before move to Cyclic ...did you happy with how the Tail perform ...No oscillation in fast backward flight ? or Bounce back ? fast forward Piro consistent ??
just wonder what is your Gyro Gain % is ?? my is at 72% in my DX7 . and still testing

I didnt add weight on mine since i only got one 2600. I was really happy with the tail authority! I tried with stock blades, after I bought metal tail grips so i could use 5mm tail blades and i used edge 72mm tail blades, also have 3k msh tail blades, all perform very well! Bear in mind you also need a good tail servo, i have MKS DS760 wich is an awesome servo! Never had a blowout or bounces. On my dx7s i have 50% on normal mode and 48 on stunt.

Futaba BLS 251 is my Tail Servo ,,and I am using KBDD 70mm ..I don't know about the DX7s but seem like you are using Gyro Sense ,,,not end point ( gear channel ) so 50% is F or G in BeastX Gyro Menu ??

Gyro gain on dx7s is different from dx7's. Mine is at G on beastx gyro menu.

That's the beauty of beastx, great performance out of the box, very little or no tunning at all and is good to go!

Me flying this afternoon. I'm still a noob, but that was really fun. First real open space with FBL conversion and in 20mph winds.

Please pardon my daughter taking the video, she's only 9 hehe!

Very nice flying!

I'm curious though. It seems to bog a lot under normal maneuvres. What headspeed, powertrain and batteries are you using?

My batteries are very old, they are Volts 6S / 22.2v / 2600mah / 45C, are almost two years of use.
I didn't check RPM yet

But I think bog is bad pilot
I'm learning 3D

No way! You're way better than I am and mine doesn't bog that much!

Might be the batteries.
