Default desperately need 72mm cf blades for rotorworkz ep8

Hello all

im building a Blinged up Rotorworkz ep8

the 611 is in the mail as are the 3150's, motor and battery is still undecided

however i need 72mm cf blades and they must be black, so far i have only been able to find white ones and they just wont do, and the only black ones i could find are 76mm which is too long aparaently, personally i cant see the problem its only 4 little mm, they are rotor tech ones from helihobby

http://helihobby.com/html/tail_rotor_blades.html

a little further down the page there are 72mm cf black ones but just look at them compared to the rotortech ones they are hideous and just wont do

anyone know of where i can get some nice looking 72mm tail rotor blades i would be much appreciated ???

cheers
Mark

Like Terry said NHP, I think they make specifically 72mm blades, 76 would work as long as the mains would clear the tails, or else you could cut some 85mm NHP's to size or something.

yeh thanks guys but after having a look at the nhp 72mm they are just too plum ugly

i may have no shoice but to go for the white ones it would be such a shame, to offset this piece of art like that but it has to look good and fly as well

the nhp's are very square and ugly

if u look at the nhp ones on the above link and then look at the rotor tech there is a vast difference in presentation.

thanks anyway ill keep looking, as for cutting some blades up, im no good at that sort of stuff

I can't tell what they look like when the tail is spinning at 10K, can you?

no i take your point but this is a bling heli, its gonna sit on top of my tv cabinet when not in use, its got all the goodies

611 that is just total overkill, a 240 would do just fine, i cant even fly that good

come on man i just want it to look pretty

its a ep8 cf stretch kit from rotorworks

Try MAH0754TR's if you need the uber bling thing. They are 75mm long.
