Thanks for the prices, Im just wondering what came in the Kit? Do you have a part #? Or was that a bare bones air frame only kit? I have access to 3x different kits here in Aus.
1. A bare bones kit,
2. As above plus cyclics servo's and,
3. A Super Combo with above PLUS Scorp. 2221-8 and an ESC.

You'd still need a tail servo and Rx and FBL with ALL the above.

I like the Nexus and to get them for about Au$23 is good buying for a good servo in # 2. above. I do have an Ino-Lab on the tail of my basher which as a beginner i can't speak for its performance, it works is all i can tell atm.

I ask about the kit you bought due to being curious why you went with the Savox servo's (i can see why if it was the bare bones kit and i have looked at them as possible replacements in the future, sadly no experience with them yet).

Regards & Cheers

yesterday i flew 2 times with the e4 , second fligt the swashplate tilted to the left but i did
get it down in one pice. i guess the k-bar is too sensitive to static from the belt. this morning
i changed the k-bar with a msh brain and then it flew so much better. the only thing i need is a proper esc. the kds esc is crab, there isnt much ompf in it.
here are som pics from today

Thanks for the update, good going sorting out your issues. Loving that 450 canopy too. Nice to see it with it's big brother/sister.

Re; Belt Static.....have you sprayed your belt with dry type silicone or teflon spray?
This will help with the initial belt stretching in and keeps the belt more pliable and won't attract dirt/dust as well as reducing/removing the static issue.

Cheers

Hey RDK.... im just looking at this pic again, and i'm wondering if the 450 SE is stock or is it a "stretched" version with 350's+ ?

Im thinking it's stock, but i'm just trying to visualise what my "stretch" project will look like together with the others when it's done.

With Thanks

It's all stock. - especially because I hate the idea of stretch'ing.

Thanks for the updates jonnyflox.... the more i look at the 600 with the 450SE paint scheme, the more i like it.

Here's hoping a similar one will be available for the Archon too, so i can synchronize the Hangar look.

My SE has arrived (was a 10 flight "used" model and in a 6S config.) and will undergo a stretch to 360 blades as a fill in till i can get my hands on a 500. Just some mounting work to do, final full bench test, then to get it in the air.

A few more items to get, fit up and i should be good then for a pic or two.....

Cheers

about the 500, im a little bit that its only availible with servos and bec.
and also i just won a scorpion 3020-1000kv made for the new goblin 380
so i think it will be the next heli.

It will be a home job, a Tarot boom & belt using the Tarot 380 parts from BangGood or something similar to what another member used (he's not here anymore) and a different belt. Then i have to find some c/f rod and ends to make my own tail servo pushrod.

I haven't checked, but mayyybe I can use a longer V2 FBL rod from the body mount servo (which i have many of), unlike the shorter SE boom servo push rod, but I think the V2 will be too short as well, so maybe a cut down 500 rod perhaps? .

Easy enough to sort a custom one anyway. I can afford to spend a bit on it due to how cheap i got it for, so i don't mind. Then lastly, get some 350/60mm blades.

I thought the Archon came in a Servo/ESC/Motor Combo? Hopefully, they will have the 3 (450 SE) kit configurations for Archon as well eventually (when I'm ca$hed to get one lol).

Quite a waiting list for the 380.... over 3000 pre-orders to date I have read, not for me but if ya end up with one have fun with it

I have a cpl of different Beam 450 projects all mid completion atm, but it's getting closer to having some pics to post, but i can say with confidence not till the New Year due to funds availability.

Regards
BH
