I ended up swaping the pitch and ailleron servos then reversing AIL function and AIL servo. ALL servos move/compensate correctly now. The deed is done. Im ready for a test flight! Well several... lots of back/forth from test hop to laptop. Head and tail gains are controled via MP not TX kind of a PITA.

You might be able to do in-flight tuning from the TX, if you have a rotary knob or slider on your TX. See this link:

I've used this on my small quad, and works well. For a single rotor heli, it looks like it's pretty much essential.

I got the 450L tail blade grips yesterday! The build is officially done! Now to find some time to flight tune... Fall is kicking my ass...

Well I started the flight tuning and got her flying. During round 2 of the tuning I forgot to plug in the RX pack and distroyed my Spinblades.

Oh pants. Sorry to hear that.

Too late now, but for next time, do all the early prep, and tuning, with everything as basic and low spec as possible. When you have it near, and your routine is well practiced, you can put all your good gear on.

Nothing else broke or stripped. Im going to press onward w/the 335's and hope the can provide the lift to get this rock off the ground. It really flies good already which I was going to show w/a vid, but didnt hook up power to the servos just the vid side. I dont even want to see that. The tail even holds pretune! I did a really good job mechanicly and surpassed requirements beyond the top of the scale. That means this is going to be a super stable/rocksolid platform!! Better than Robert's example???

So I'll order another set of the SB's. I defo felt how nice these blades are and even for a 5min lazy hovering session in the alley. I felt zero heft as it lifts this rock of a bird guessing 5+ lbs.

Sadly, not unusual, with this and other flight controllers. I've read about it a few times, and a buddy of mine had it happen with a Naze FC,

Can it be re-soldered?

Why couldn't you return it? Was there any degree of misuse? If you dragged the lead, and forced it, then is it their fault, no. If you were just pushing it in, was it your fault, no. Maybe if we saw some pictures someone might have an idea. I did manage to resolder one of those once, in a Tom Tom sat nav, but I suppose each circumstance is different. In my case the board was totally intact, and it was a relaviely easy job. Clamped it into position and did one pin. Released the clamp, and tweaked it into perfect position, and heated all the other pins in turn, and to my surprise it worked perfectly.

Whatever you decide, maybe you could surround it with hot glue next time? As long as there is nothing you need to get to that is near to it?

I just plugged it in and MP would not connect so I unplugged it and the port came out. So I assume it broke as I plugged in.

Well I guess I send it back again then due to poor quality. looking like cold solders all the way there is no shine. pins are not broke/bent so not my fault. If I could micro solder I could fix it, but Im no Dilbert.
