No it says 12.3 , I have my multimeter at DCV 200. The red cable of multimeter is on COM, the black cable on V (continuity sign) mA. There is a aditional connection that I can plug the red or black that says 10ADC. Maybe I not using the multimeter correctlly

If you did , that wouldn't be good.

So now can you read 24V from the both when wired in series?
How do I check that?

The black wire goes into the common connection and the red would be in the V hole.
You don't need the ADC hole.

Power the 2 PS and with the Black and red probes go across (touch) the cases of the 2 PS. One probe to each case.
Do you get a reading?

The next thing to do is wire them in series to get 24V and see if you can measure it.

Take the negative wire from the grounded PS and connect it to the Positive side of the ungrounded PS.

Measure the voltage across the Positive side of the 1st PS (grounded) to the Negative of the 2nd PS (ungrounded).

I did, still the same reading. When you said ungrounded what do you mean the black wire of the PS that Iremive the screws?

Yes, the PS with the screws removed is the one with no DC ground.

If you measured 12.2V from each PS separately and you wire them in series, you have to be getting a higher reading than 12.2V from the both of them. Should be 24.4V

This really don't make sence to me. Like you said I got 12.2 individually why in parallel it still 12.2?

Ok, i had a switch between the cable that goes from the negative wire to the positive side ungrounded and remove it.. I turn the power supply again and the power cable is getting hot again

That's correct. In parallel the voltage should be the same. In series you should add the voltages.

Dummy question: Did you cut the AC ground connection?? The power cord getting hot sounds like a short circuit. If not, you should break the AC ground connection to wire the PSs in series.

Best Regards.

Alex.

You don't want to disconnect the AC ground from one PS.
You will want to disconnect the DC ground from one PS.

I pulled out 2 screws that mount the pc board to the case.
Then slipped a piece of plastic under it to stop the posts where the screws cam out from touching the pc board.
I din't Woodcraft told me to not to

A sure way to make these things dangerous.
I would never cut the AC ground.

You are sure you have it wired as per the thread on RC Groups?

I think the ungrounded PS should be the one on the left in your picture.

Woodcrafter I did that. The problem was the switch that is on the picture that was not really connecting the 2 power supply. That is why I always got 12.2 so I remove the switch and again the cable is getting hot again.
