Default Which LIFE battery brand to get?

Wanted to buy some LIFE batteries to run RX and electronic ignition in BOTH gasser helis and planes. Looking for something already made NOT that I have to solder.

I know Buddy RC has theirs:

http://www.buddyrc.com/power-system/...batteries.html

and Tower Hobbies has their LifeSource: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...93p?&C=MCD&P=6

What do you recommend that you like the most? Please be brand specific. Thanks for the help.

I use life batteries for my rx, When i first looked into getting i was told to make sure they are made up with genuine A123 packs. So i would go with the ones from buddyrc. I have them on 3 different heli's, my Raptors E755 and E820 and the Synergy E7se. All my packs are the same size(2500mha).
On average they take out about 180mha per flight of about 6-8 minutes.
They weigh slightly more than the same lipo but i like that i can charge them when i come home and they hold a charge for a long time....
The buddy ones are using 2300mha cells but they have a newer cell out with 2500mha so i would ask them if they have any of them...

Everything has a shelf like. 2300's are very old. Try Hangtimes, Electrodynam, etc. dot com.

You can get cells with tabs and make cheap packs:

Also the 18650 1100 mAh may be good for some applications.

Important: The wire from the battery to the receiver is very important. Generally two power plug into the RX really helps the voltage drop and the battery should be 18 AWG.
