This is exactly what I tried to say in my post. It might be cheaper in the long run, but to some it is most important to get into hobby cheap and step up one small step at a time when the time comes. This is something most pros seem to forget. Not everyone wish to dive head on to deep water and put a price tag on their spare time. The journey is more important than the goal for some. I myself like to tinker with things and would never buy a turn key AP package just to shoot some aerials as a hobby. That's what I tried to say, nothing else.

I would not call a 450 and a point-and-shoot exactly expensive. Not professional, either. But AP nevertheless! AP can be extremely cheap.

Oh dear, now this thing has made it's way to AP scene... By "this thing" I mean professionals fearing their reputation and income are threatened by amateurs doing something similar really cheap. Same thing was hot topic in ordinary photography world a few years back. "Amateurs come with their cheap cameras and inferior skills and steal all our customers with their ultra low prices! " Well, what can you do. Just continue to do a super job as a professional to justify the higher price and you're all good in long run!

I most certainly do not mean to be disrespectful or put down your ideas or input in any way! I respect your input on this and many other topics very much! I have learned many things from you and other professionals - something I would have needed years and years of tinkering and endless pile of euros if done all by myself. I just need to put the pro talk through a "just doing this for fun" filter while reading. When you say "you must buy a Joker 2/3 in order to do AP" I read "eventually you will by a Joker 2/3, if you start to do AP for your living".
