for now, that should get me around 2550 hs with the 520 blades.feels pretty light,so far its been pretty simple, the t-10 motor mounts fit perfect,i had to ream the stock cutch adapter to 9.5 mm to fit the shank on the ys crank,i trimmed the stock fan shroud around the head,i ordered up a trex 600 shroud, and I think I should be able to get some better coverage around the head by combining the two together.

Default stretch/50

so far it been pretty easy-
the t-10 mounts put the 50 in perfect,i just trimmed the fan shroud around the head ,ive ordered a trex 600 shroud ,ill see if thatll fit with some mods or cut a few pieces off it for some more coverage around the head.,the x5 boom ,tt ,pushrod ,tail fin should just bolt on with no mods.the zeal 520 blades will fit the grips with a 4mm to 3mm bolt spacer(ill either ream the grips out later or add x5 grips with the correct 4mm bolt).the clutch adapter had to be reamed out to 9.4mm,which I bought at a local tool supply for 28 bucks(I have accses to a lathe, which made that easy).
the remaining parts will be here mon.

question-

-with stock gearing head speed will be max at 2550,will that be enough?
it feels def lighter than my trex 550.

-does the fan pull air from the bottom of the engine or push it down across the head

up into the fan, down through the shroud across the head, out the bottom.

How is your COG? If it's good what size battery did you put up front? This looks great. If it works out would you be willing to ream a clutch hub for me? Let us know how it goes.

squeely ,its a bit tail heavy as far as CG goes with a 1450 life up front, not sure if anything bigger will fit.should have it going soon, ill let ya know how it works out, doing the clutch hub for ya ,no prob.

on another note, ive never paid attention to CG on any of my helis, just for the hell of it I just checked my other helis and there all tail heavy, except for the 700n ,which is nose heavy, all will hover hands off for a bit(upright and inverted).ive let some of the hardcore smack 3d guys in my club fly my helis ,and have never had anyone even mention a cg issue with them.so does the fbl compensate for the cg imbalance,or is it some only a real pro would notice.ive payed around with my goblin with the cg off in both directions, and it seemed to fly the same to me.?

I notice the CG most when doing hard piro moves. If it's off a little it will cause a wobble when you get into the collective hard. You would notice it during piro pitch pumps.

I,

It's not mine, it's spanish pilot.

I will have my motor this week-end.

on my NX4, i'll use GAUI Stretch kit ( 215088 ) for mount 473 blade & 2500 T/M head speed.
