Nice!

I got the chance to fly a prototype of the same heli (but with the stock motor) a couple of weeks ago here in Europe. Nice machine

Pity it didn't have the HK3026-1400 installed - my favorite motor on the 430. Unboggable (with good lipos) ...but mine are empty after 3 minutes, as well

What pinion do you use and what headspeed? 13T and 2900 rpm here.

Regards,
Simon.

Thanks Guys - I haven't used a 12T pinion because I thought it would strip the main gear (other pilots have managed this). Seems it works well, though!

Using a Kontronik Jive 80+LV ESC here, peaks to 100A or so, headspeed governed to 2900 as well.

Regards,
Simon.

I'm using the same ESC too, for 12T make sure the gear meshing is as near as possible with the slightest free play.
