Rumors out of Europe say a 16 to 18 channel 14MZ replacement in April or so. Rumors out of the US say the rumors out of Europe are not correct.

So the answer is no, nothing solid.

However, I would not be at all surprised to see a new radio sometime this year and if it had 16 channels that would not be a surprise either given that the S-Bus programmer has the ability to program 16 channels.

Hi,

I hope Futaba will release information of any new things they might show now at Nurnberg Fair on their website in a reasonably time before they actually have something to sell to users. I do not like when a company advertise a new product and we have to wait month after month (sometimes even a year or more) before anyone can buy it. Spektrum DX8 and DX10 - that took long time before DX8 was released and DX10 has not been released yet and Spektrum announced them a long time ago. Remember Graupner new high end radio MC-32? They showed it at last year Nurnberg Fair but it has not been released yet. Personally I think it just irritation but I understand it can be technical obstacles that delay a product release to the public.

Nothing there either. Anyone at the Toy Fair have any reports?

Hi,

I read some on German RC forums and Robbe/Futaba did not show anything new really. No telemetry, no new airplane/helicopter radio (except they have a new beginner 6 channel 2.4 GHz non FAAST radio, T6J).
I did notice in Robbe news catalog 2011 that there will be many enhancements via software to the Robbe/Futaba T8FG radio and I'm sure some of the enhancements mentiond there will be also in the rest of the software upgradable Futaba radios.

I give up! Tired of waiting for a new radio to come out! If it comes out fine, if not, so what!

Sent a Mail to robbe and asked for telemetry. Telemetry will be ready before summer. And they will develope new transmitters ( new high end i dont know) but i was told that most likely my 14mz should be upgradeble. If i had to send it in or just a software update they did not know yet.
