Default Governor adapter wire YGE 160/VBar

Could I please get a clarification on the #04756 adaptor wire. Diagram that I have seen show the connector either going into either the Servo or Sensor II ports on the VBar. The new adaptor I received has two leads with a red wire on one, and a black wire on the other. The old adaptor has two yellow wires and one brown on one lead that according to Mr. Mel's video plugs into the Sensor II port with the Receiver lead plugging into the Servo port. I am new to YGE and VBar and just can't seem to wrap my head around all this. Where do these wires actually go, and does the Receiver lead then go to the Colle/ESC port? Thanks for any help.
