Default BC6 charge rate

I'm pretty new to lipo charging, I just got a trex 500 that uses 6s lipos. I have 4 zippys that says they can be charged to 5c. When I do a balance charge on the bc6 it says the amps are 2.2. I'm using 2200 lipos, does that mean I'm charging them at 1c?. can I charge than higher than 1c and if so what do I need to change. I tried changing the amps to 4.4 but when I charge the battery id still says it's 2.2 during the charge and goes down from there

The BC-6 is a 50W charger. This means the combination of charging voltage and current cannot exceed 50W. The formula for calculating Watts is Volts times Amps.

When charging a 6S LiPo battery, the nominal charging voltage is 22.2V. To determine the maximum charging current for the BC-6, divide 50W by 25.2V, and the answer is 2.25A. This is the best the BC-6 can offer because of its design.

Once the battery cells reach about 4.18V, the charging program changes from constant current to constant voltage. The BC-6 will then increase the voltage to 25.2V and decrease the current until each cell reaches about 4.2V. This is why you see the current decrease near the end of the charging cycle.
