There are many different shapes and sizes of 250 canopies. Some are wide, some are narrow, some are fiberglass, some are plastic...

If you have one that does not fit, you can drill new holes and move the grommets. You can also trim the canopy to make room for the servo arms.

When you do find a canopy that fits right, write down the part number, or order 2 more of them.

Yes, I have the 250 DFC canopy and it's a pain to install without pushing out the grommets. I wish I could find a better solution than drilling new holes; but until I do, I'll just have cope with the problem as best I can.

EDIT: Sorry I didn't address the servo arms issue--yes, the canopy just barely touches the servo links (not the arms). The contact is so slight that it has no effect on flying, but it does bother me knowing it happens.

I put a 250 SE canopy on mine... just had to move the holes back a bit. Ditch those 250 canopy grommets and get the 450 grommets. They hold up for a long time and they don't push out when installing at flight.

Yes. My 250 canopy was tight and difficult to keep grommets from popping out.

I crashed and broke the stock plastic canopy. I bought a new fiberglass canopy. Same thing, however it loosened up with time and use.

I did notch the part that would touch the skids on the plastic canopy and that helped as i recall. The fiberglass canopy doesn't seem to need it.

To keep the grommets in, I glued them.

I had the same problem with my 450L, but it also loosened up. Not sure why, but it slips on pretty easy now.

On mine I took a pencil grinder and shaved down the bottom of the canopy and that allows it to push on further. +1 on glueing the grommets on the inside of the canopy .
