Hey guys, having a little trouble with my elevator arm lining up with my elevator servo, if I have the elevator arm centered on the control shaft my links are at an angle and cuasing servo to buzz. But if I move the elevator arm to the farthest spot it will go on the shaft for the set screw it lines up good. Question is; won't that offset my whole swash as far as centered on the main shaft and will this cuase problems? If I remove the rubber dampeners from the servo it might be enough to line up the balls and links but than I am worried about vibrations to the servo. Any suggestions would be awesome.

any of you guys using a AR7100r ......i finish my t-rex build 2 weeks ago but for the life of me i can't get my ATV's set right 100% high 70% low i played around with ball spacing but nothing works I'd be happy if each one was no lower 90% This is with a YS91sr s9452

Bob was wondering if you are going to do a Align G-3 head vid. I am fixing to build a 700 kit with the G 3 head. Was wondering how much off the build will be with the G 3 head? Thanks for what you do for us.

You know the elevator "A" frame can be moved left or right for a very small amount in order to facilitate servo wheel alignment, right? That should not affect your swash much, just bring it to the point where the servo is happy and you should be OK.

Burt, I am assuming you are talking about the throttle setup correct? Here is a link of my build, I had hard time setting the throttle as well, a lot of people helped, especially Tom Burgess from England. Hope this link will help you. I am at 104% max open and 104% closed with trim centered. The low point is going to have to go lower to compensate for idle.

I'm in the final stage of my 700 build and noticed that the tail pushrod control horn installed on the bellcrank assembly rubs against the tail case. Have I done something wrong?

You maybe missing the thick washer spacer between the bell crank and the bearing in the assembly. It should do that.

I recently finished my Trex 700 build and found a problem. Help needed please.

The upper main gear is not operating properly. During test flight i found that engine speed suddenly drops at a particular point and then suddenly increases to more than my required speed.
I found that the upper main gear has some restriction in its rotation.
i checked without starting the engine that if i rotate the blades with my hands, the upper gear remains stationary, where as on my other heli(vibe 50) it rotates with the head.

i feel that if i continued the operation, upper main gear might be stripped off.
I removed the gear, opened all screws and then again tightened them to see if this could resolve the problem. But no gain.
If i rotate the gear with my fingers it hesitates or moves with difficulty at some points.
Any solution?

I cant speak for the Vibe 50 but the 700 has a sprague one way bearing not a simple press in one way bearing like most helis. When looking down on the head and you rotate the head clockwise the head should spin free and the main gear will not turn. The lower gear should turn to drive the tail. This is what a auto rotation bearing does. If your vibe 50 doesn't do that then maybe it's auto bearing is locked up which can happen.

OK so here is your problem with the sprague on your 700 and this is a common failure. The outer bearing is slipping in the bearing case. You need to remove all the screws and CAREFULLY push out the bearing (do not push out all the pins). Clean up all grease on the outer bearing and the aluminum case. Using green locktite on the outer bearing and slide it back in the case and tighten the top evenly.

I cant remember now but I thought I showed removing this bearing in the main gear and clutch video?

Thank you very much for the reply Bob.
I have found that the clutch assembly+engine mounting is the problem.
When i loosen the screws of clutch assembly and engine, everything becomes alright.
As soon i tighten up the screws of either engine or clutch assembly, there comes a restriction in the rotation of clutch assembly, which in turn causes hesitation in main gear rotation.
I tried different methods to tighten up the screws but every time i get the same result.
I don't know where have i gone wrong.

I just went through my first build with the TRex 700 Nitro Pro and followed these vids...and they are awesome. I'm using DS610 servos on the cyclic and a DS650 on the tail. My servos didn't come with the wheels that were shown in the vids, and I'd like to use those instead of the 'X's that came with them. But I don't know for sure which wheels to order. Please help.
