Maybe it does its a Thunder Tiger Heli

I honestly hope they don't charge more than 800 USD for the kit. That seems to be the going rate for most of the 90 size birds, like the Rave ENV and Velocity 90. Obviously the Vibe 90SG and Hirobo Turbulence D3 are up near 1500, but that is out of reach for most people like myself.

Glad to see them coming out with a new line ... Its' about time.. I like the tail set up and CCPM no question. Beautiful FBL head , but IMHO I looked at alot of pics and the frames dont look like they have enough support. Also did anybody see a pinion support on the Electric? Just looks flimsy to me. It will have to see it in the flesh. Leaning to the Logo 600 instead. Welcome back TT. You WERE first heli.

I saw the E720 in person at Toledo, there is a pinion support. I even have a picture with it in. These are incredible machines, maybe more like works of art. Some of the new features are hands down some of the coolest things I have seen in a model helicopter.

I saw Tom Erik Rolfsson fly it at the Pitchbrother Smackdown this weekend. This is one bad A.. Heli! I'm really excited that TT will be back in the market for real. With this heli they certainly will

Will the new 90 electric frame be compatible with existing raptor 90 frame, i'd like to have the option to put in 12s batteries which is a bit difficult with the existing raptor 90 frame

FBL helis should be 0.6:1.0, not 1:1. It's usually accomplished with the head links sloping outward as they go up. TT gets the ratio from the swash driver/mixing arm, so they can run straight links.

That thing a BBBAAADDDDD looking.

My only question about it... The bell cranks look too long for a good FBL setup. Thats the problem with building helis for both FB and FBL... Hard to get them perfect for both setups. Time will tell, I suppose.

From the photos I have seen it does not appear that the frames will allow conversion from the older Raptors.

Currently flying a pre-production version and at first sight I thought the same about the arms, but they're really not too long. The ratio...i.e. servo output compared to final output on those arms is equivalent to most. I have another 90 size machine I converted to E a couple years ago, and if I measure the ratios on it, it's the same, but it doesn't look as drastic because both sides of the equation are shorter. If you need say .5 to 1 ratio (just using those numbers as they illustrate well), then you can have 5mm and 10mm on the two lengths, or 10mm/20mm, etc and achieve the same end result. They made everything longer here which enhances resolution and reduces the affect of any play in the linkage over time. That being said, with the enormous balls and links they put on the linkage going up to the swash I don't see how any play will every develop <G>. BTW, it's extremely smooth and quiet, and very very fast.

That's cool... Thought it might be the pics. As long as they have a better ratio than the Trex bell cranks they should be OK.

Tower Hobbies has them listed. 999 for the E720, and 1099 for the G4 Nitro. Don't know what that includes though, not to many details.

It appears that it will just be the mech. There will be no ele. or blades included. I hope that the flybarless versions will at least come with the sablizing system. Unless I am missing it on the website Tower Hobbies has not posted any of the other required parts.
