Default OS 55 DRS vs YS 60

I have an OS55 DRS in my 600N and I love it. It seems like it makes a shload of power. My question is, I was having some issues with it that I now have figured out, but I was considering replacing it with a YS 60. If I find another heli to build, I'm still considering the YS just for the price alone.

So which makes more power? Which is easier to tune? Is there really a difference? My buddy flies a YS56 and it seems like similar power to my OS55, so I'm kind of thinking the YS60 must be awesome. Am I off my rocker?

Last question, what's your experience having to get parts for either?

Thanks

I think there are always some pros and cons to these engines.

For me, the YS 60SR delivers not just more power, but the torque band is wide and allows for hard flying where you're getting nuts with the pitch. FUN! The big power is available at lower rpm than the OS55. Parts access is excellent from YS Engines in Nevada. Just call Richard and he will fix you up quickly. I don't waste time shopping elsewhere for parts anymore. No one else carries much selection.

I found the OS55 easier to tune. Power delivery is smooth, but not as torquey as the YS. The OS regulator is very nice, but isn't repairable. $100 to replace it. The YS regulator can be rebuilt for $15. Typical nice behavior from the OS though.

Very nice engines. Can't go wrong. That's why I have one of each

I'd NEVER pay $400 for the OS, though.
