God,,, I HATE winter!!!!!

Have I ever mentioned this before?

What the hell happened to summer? Why is it the older I get the faster the year slips away? It's just not fair!!!

Remember that snow on the mountains I mentioned a week or so back? Well, it's still there!

Right now it's 12:30 in the afternoon and 41*F!!! They are predicting snow down here this Saturday!
Seems to be arriving a little early this year. Not exactly Earth shattering, but still sucks, in my estimation.

Even though I only got 1, yes 1 srh flight in this year, I did manage to fly the crap out of my Hexa! Even so, it's just not enough!!! I WANT MORE!

I have no answer for the whole winter thing, just suffer thru another season of cold weather.
Just starting the dread of that cold weather a little earlier than usual. Probably due to my not fishing like I used to. October was one of my favorite fishing months. The browns are spawning, the rainbows following them to rob the eggs, Water levels lower, less people out on MY streams.

Still there is good news.
My knee is the best it has ever been in decades! By next spring I should be out flying and fishing in force.
It gives me time to get the fleet in tip top shape, ( like that will happen ).
Indian summer will give me a quick break before things get really nasty.

Still, I already feel the pangs of cabin fever setting in,,,

As for winter, I have a new theory: it's not a time of the year at all, it's the place. Winter is a place where you go to put the skies on, do some physical exercise and then you go home, isn't it?

I think I heard someone mention something about it before Good news on that kn-update, and will be looking forward to some more FPV action.

I never liked Winter either, it's just too damn cold!! I only like it when it snows so I can get my snowboard out to play in the white stuff and keep warm. Mind you it never usually lasts for more than a few weeks in this part of the world!! Then it just rains the rest of the time

Will get in touch if going your way, Tom, promise, although so far there is no skiing trip planned for the coming winter, due to mainly 2 factors:

• Future work looks a bit shaky at the moment. This will probably change soon, as obviously I'm working on it, but the reorganization at the top of my main client's structure doesn't help me at all.
• Mrs P. has undertaken a build project that dwarfs all of the mine, and I'm financing the major part of it. Women have no sense of priority at all:

Guess we get a break next week, but,,,,, the mailman shoved my package with my new boom into somebody else's mail box! I never got it,,,,
Damn my luck! Got another coming in next week.

My new fpv camera is coming in from the UK! Don't know exactly when the Titanic docks, so it may be awhile.

Starting to get antsy about getting this back together. I got a lot of crap to do to her still. Between motor testing, firmware updating, set up and testing, flight testing with more load from 3 batterys, ( 2 4s 5000's and a 3s 850 for fpv ), I have a lot to do!
Hope to have all of it behind me by the time I get my camera!
This crappy weather would have been a perfect time to do it all.

On top of that, where I work, we are going to 12 hour work days come January! Bastards!
Had a meeting with the big wigs, they said we were going to get 78 more days off this way.
I told my crew, "yeah, we're going to get 7 or 8 days off next year!"
It's a screwy schedule, too. 2 days on 3 days on type thing. The good news, if you time your vacation just right we can squeeze an extra week off!

Should be fun, when they ask me if I can cover for somebody off on the off-shift. I'll just tell them I have to go to my second job at the marajuana dispencery!

That's a heavily overcast sky in my place, I'm pretty sure there were some droplets of water coming down from the sky at the time of the picture, checked it out on Wikipedia and I think it's called "rain"

Got my video transmitter in and everything works beautifully!
The new camera works great!
The difference between my RMRC 700vtl camera and this new SeaWolf 690vtl prixim wdr is just amazing!



Now, if it would just quit snowing!!!!
