Rich Knapp's Goblin 570 build.
Well I taking the jump.
Building a G-570 this winter or sooner. I'm doing a 6S set up seen as I'm just a mellow flier. No hard core 3D more of a big sky dancing style guy. IF I find 12S is a better route I'll just have a extra ESC and motor for my 550X AKA: SAM The set up I'm doing is as follows: CC BEC Pro Scorpion 4025-1100Kv CC Edge 130 BK servos bD 3SX and 2 sats Every Lynx upgrade and in Red Devil when available. Multiple color/schemes. I love customizing. I LOVE my birds to stand out in a crowd of the same birds. As long as no one minds or complains This will be my running log both for my personal use and people to follow. A little about me: A few years back I found RC heli flying and started as eye hand therapy for my M.S. It all started with a Great Wall 9958 and I was hooked. Now I'm sponsored/rep for Lynx. So as long as you all don't mind I'll keep my log here. I'm the dood in the wheelchair holding SAM (Blade 550X) |

Welcome Rich. So does the flying help with regard to your M.S. or you just got hooked anyway?

I started flying for eye hand coward enation therapy instead of going to a cold clammy clinic. I just fell in love with it. Now I do therapy and it just feels fun. |

I'd like to give a shout out to fellow HF'er jbobb1.
He was following my build thread in the Lynx mini forum and was so assume to donate these to the build. I thank him very much. That's just that much more I can put into other parts/kit. Things like this is what the hobby is all about. I will as always pay it forward in return. |

Thank you. I may not be a great flier compared to most or smack fliers but I like looking good doing it.

They are working on many things for the 570. They just started last week with new things when they got their test 570 in. I know they have other 570 pilots around the world but I have a deal with Lynx. Because of my memory, they don't fill me in until just before the release so I don't leak something by mistake. Just before release I get a part then I do a "Call it as I see it" common Joe flier, into of the part and review vid. ( I'm old school. It's my rep as much as theirs, if I say I like a part and it turns out to be crap.) I didn't do it as a Pro bodybuilder and I won't do it as a RC Heli pilot. Sadly I have to post them only in the Lynx support mini forum https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=630230 and not this thread or I will be asked to move my log as I did with the Blade heli's. (They are 100% Lynx build based on all the Blade Lynx upgrades) As a Lynx pilot I have to watch what I post so I don't have to move. Forum rules. I don't push or bash, I just like to inform, so I will be watching my step so I can enjoy posting here and my progress. |

Hi Rich,
Good to find you in this fórum. I have a B550x and a recently built 570. I would like to ge a stretch kit for the 570 to use 600mm blades. I hope that Lynx develope one like the G500 kit. |

So do I. I will post the first thing I hear they are. I'll be on that. I did the 550X because I didn't want the 12S with the 600X. Going 6S on the 570. If they make a stretch it will be cool so see how 600mm runs on 6S and if my style flying even calls for 12S. |

Some new things came to light.
Build is taking a different route. I'll post when it's all ironed out. It's still the 570, just a little turn in the road. |

Should be getting more part for my build in the next few weeks. Yes they are from Lynx. They just put some nice 570 upgrades up on their site.
This is were my build will be hard to NOT mention my sponsor or pic's. I have no intention of looking or being pushy. Just proud to be building a 570 and would like to share my trip in a Common Joes eyes. ** I'm no smack or competition flier. Give me a calm day and a big blue sky and I'm a very happy boy. |
