Ok. I want to go flybarless on this older 600 esp.. This version has the elevator in front. I have the Naza H installed. I got the 600 DFC but the main shaft is too short. Without cutting and drilling shafts, what can I do? A different fbl head assembly? A different shaft? I don't want to have to buy another bird to go FBL. Thanks.

The new main shaft that comes with the align dfc head set is to short. It will not reach all the way into the auto rotation gear and the bolt hole is not accessible.

You can use a RJX FBL head or Tracs head.on the standrd ESP main shaft.
I remember seeing a replacement shaft for the DFC head that was suppose to fit the ESP frame setup and still work with the DFC head.
I just used a stock main shaft at the time.. If I remember correctly I needed to shorten it 17mm and re-drill it at the time.
There was no direct replacement at the time.

Thank folks. I just ordered the H60247 from heli direct. It is stated that it is the shaft needed for a ESP to go DFC. I'll find out in a couple days. Keep you posted. Thanks.

yep, the H60247 shaft is the one to use, worked great on my conversion.
