Replacement gear sets for the TORQ series servos (both 90xx and 91xx series) will be available soon, let me check if we are also going to have replacement hardware/servo wheel packs available.

Will post here once I find out something.

I've used these before with the shouldered balls, and backed up with a nut. ball goes on the "nut" side of the wheel. This info was for a Velocity 50.

I don't know the answer for the 90. I also found these, they are for Ino-lab servos that have the same Futaba spline.

The Align servo wheels are very soft and will slip a spline easily. I would not recommend using them on a 90.
Thanks
Tone

I would recommend the opposite. The align horns are great for a 90, but they MUST be replaced every crash.

I totally forgot that the servos come with extra horns; not the round ones, but i'm sure the other horns work just as good... anyone used the extra big horns that come with the Torq servos??
I also ordered the ino-lab ones just in case.

Greg when and if a servo gear is stripped what happens then. Do the servos have to be sent in to for the gears to be replaced. I thought opening the case on the servo voids the warranty.

No...we discussed that at one time...since there was no replacement gears at that time...there was no reason to open up the case...that is pretty much the reason it was stated that opening would void warranty as at that time there was no user replaceable parts that would necessitate the opening of the case.

Once gears are available they will be a user replaceable item...and opening the case top to replace gears will not void the warranty.
