WOW, finally after all these years LOL! Now they need to release kits without the brain and esc. Not everyone wants those. I see they also call out short balls for the outer swash as needed. They still did not get the drawing right though LOL! I also see it comes with low fbl head which is great!!

Here is the biggy. They changed the distance between plastic links for the servo to swash rods from old 17mm to new 18.6 mm. The old distance caused unequal positive and negative collective and uneven cyclic throws particularly with low fbl head. I did mine by trial and error to get equal travel with ds95 cyclic servos and ended up at around the 18.5mm mark!!
My hats off to msh for getting that corrected!!!!

[QUOTE=scott s;5623274] Now they need to release kits without the brain and esc.

A naked kit and one with just a motor would be great for all three sizes available.
Forgot about the Max as an option in my first post

Damn couldn't they have released those kits 2 months earlier... I would've probably gotten a 6S one, would have saved me some trouble of stretching it and going 6S, would also have saved me the money of buying a low fbl head.
(thinking I might go for the 2520-1880kv motor with 4S 2200 though, for a bit more flight time than on 6s).

And also, they seem cheaper than the previous kits, the cheapest I found the original 3S kit in France was 335€, and both kits go for 484€ (-180€ for brain) on the official MSH website, so probably for a bit less in France.

Oh indeed, I had noticed that, but since it was my first build I just followed the manual.
I really need to redo my entire swash setup to fix that. I'm running 12.5 pitch and around 9 on the cyclic and haven't noticed any odd behaviour, I run out of servo travel before the swash runs into something.

Anyone else notice the mention of a 13 tooth pinion in the manual?

I'm thinking of upgrading to a Mini P from my trusty old 450 Sport v1. Is this new kit considered untried, or is it more of an evolution from the previous one? Thanks!

New kits just include different/upgrade parts, nothing new.

Is there some 'super secret' way or ordering them. I went to your website as soon as I saw this and everything showed out of stock. Did they sell out that fast or does the website need updating?

It was not an add for the store, just letting people know what was going on because I have had a lot of questions about only offering kits with Brains.
As for the Minis, This just happened and I have not been able to order any of the updated kits yet.

When will they be out as barebones kits so we can set up our own?

From what I am told all kits from the factory will be full kits with Brains included and there is no intention of offering any other options in the future.

What a shame they go that route. Why force people to also buy the little box of air for ~150/200 with the kit. . .....PCB, uProcessor, accelorometer, gyrochip and a plastic case. all off the shelf technology also used in kids toys these days.... $15 to build at most i assume. Sure development and testing bla bla.... still dont like to be forced into a buy like that. Perhaps this is the way they try to battle the cheaper alternatives that also work really well?

Keep in mind this is just at the factory level.
I am sure most dealers will work something out to get the customers the kit they want....
