Default CNC router

I will be buying a cnc router in 2015 and starting to look at various options. I don't need a huge work size and don't want to spend more than @ $2500
I will be cutting primarily G10.

I am looking at this one...

I would spend my money on something else. There are better choices for not much more money out there IMHO.

I see you are in Portland, what's your background? Are you working in a shop with full size commercial equipment or possibly doing design work for someone local? I know most of the shops up there and it would help if I had some idea about what sort of work you wanted to do because the machine you linked to is too much of a weak sister and I'm afraid it will just piss you off.

Should be fine for cutting G10. I just started looking myself so, I'm no professional by any means. I seen a CNC3020 for sale on Craigslist for $600. I would imagine it would cut G10,carbon fiber, wood, plastic just fine for what I want to do. However I'm open to suggestions also

similar to waco...
I just need to cut parts from G10 primarily. I am sure whatever I start with will be a gateway to something more down the road.
