Default fbl head speed

so what head speeds are you running. i,m set at 2100, but im starting to think it is a little low. os55 and mavrikk 600 blades. when i shut off the gov and fly the v curve, i hear a big increase in rpm.

You proly need to run 620mm blades. 600's might be a little to light. And I wouldn't go any more on the RPMs unless you got a all metal head even then that might be a bit much.

If everything works as it should then the best power from the engine will be produced with a 2000 headspeed. OS claim max power at 17000rpm. The X50 has a 8.5:1 gear ratio.

It would be rare I would think for your throttle curve to match exactly that of the governor so it shouldn't come as a surprise if the headspeed isn't the same..

actually turns ot it was set for 2000. but i increased it by 75 to try.
