Geez dude...you need help I haven't bought anything yet. Having all the components in my house will only make the wait longer. I may buy the engine and pipe though as inventories for those are getting tougher to find.

You just are not fully a FREAK yet. I got a few things together for my NX4 myself and yes I am a FREAK.

LOL... you know its bad when you've got Will beat at freakness....

Only thing I'm waiting for is the WR BEC to arrive. Decided not to go with the perfectregulator after all. I'm putting in a WR 2S BEC with a soft switch. I prefer to keep the regulator portion and the glow portion separate... plus I have all WR stuff on my other helis and they are bulletproof!

They told me that I should only expect 6 - 8 gallons of fuel before I have to change them again. I was like WHAT?? I've got to do this about every 40 flights??? Seriously? You nitro freaks change the bearings that frequently?

He said the nitro corrodes the metal in the bearings and that the only type of bearing that would last longer in nitro engines is a hybrid one with ceramic balls... but at the expense that if/when it goes, it could destroy the engine. I was like... no thanks... this is a $400 engine!

Took it outside earlier today and it just PUURRSSS.... thing of beauty! You can balance a nickel on the headbutton with the engine running....so smooth! But I'm dreading having to do this again. I hope the little OS 37 lasts a bit longer!

4 x Align DS510s for cyclic and throttle
MKS DS8910A+ for tail

All running at 6V via WR 2S BEC

Got the 4 Align servos cheap, and they worked great on my 500 so they should be fine. The tail servo alone was almost as much as the other 4 combined! It is stupid fast though... 0.040 at 6V

Thanks, Looks like the DS610's are pretty easy to find for cheap. I will have to check out the SAVOX. Trying to decide if I should go ahead and stock up a little at a time! But then I wonder what all is gonna be included in the Kit's.

The latest info I've read is the initial kit will come with the heli and blades. No engine or electronics. They may later release a "combo" kit like they have for their other helis, but I have no idea when that kit will be available, if ever.

What are the thoughts on the hitec 5245mg servos and the hyperion dh 16's? Seems to be several good reviews on those too.

Sorry, don't know anything about those...although I did have the micro Hitec servos on my 450 Sport and they were very good.

On another note, I finally got the 2S WR BEC in today. I'm seriously considering not using this on the NX4... it is very big! The picture didn't do it justice. It looks beefy and quite solid, but way overkill for this little bird. Anyone have a good recommendation for a simple 2S regulator for 6V output?

I was thinking of another possibility... just go with a lightweight 3s pack and get the smallest WR bec I can find. Problem with 2S is that if your regulator isn't up to par, you can easily overwhelm it and brown out. I can do it on the bench with my regular WR 8s BEC... just wiggle collective/cyclic a lot and it will reset.

Have you given any thought to running an unregulated LiFe pack? I've been running LiFe packs in my nitros for some time now.

Unregulated LiFe fo life, yo!
Seriously, it's a great way to go, 2S LiFe and a stepdown for the tail servo.

I run a 2s life unregulated to my 610 and 650 servos on my 6hv, don't need a step down.
