For me normal governor in YGE was always very good. It spools HS very smoothly, no issue at all here. Also, for me both gov and gov store works identicly (and should work) except initial governor calibration. In gov store its done just first time.
If all is correctly configured there should'nt be any differences. Gov store gives you just more stable results with different batteries.
I fly YGE ESC for few years and I am very happy.
I just attached fan to it due to overheating issue.
