For the Servo horn, either the big Futaba Servo wheels or the futaba heavy duty "T" car servo horns work well.

You'll have to trim down the wheel or cut off one arm on the T shaped one, but this is easy to do with a dremel.

Both servo horns are nice and thick.

The V-Bar handles a 2S LiPo no problem.

Default Hex starter adaptor not fitting?

Hey guys,
I was working on the clutch assembly today, and i came to a problem. My hex adaptor ( Part # 128-118) wont fit onto the start shaft ( Part # 128-109). Im 100% sure everything is in correct position, but nomatter how hard i push, i even tried using WD40, the start shaft wont fit all the way on. Also, is the steel shim washer ( Part #0273) that is used on this assembly pre-assembled? I looked everywhere and i couldnt find one in the kit, but when i put the clutch drive bearing block on, it seemed as if there was a washer inbetween them?

You mean the female hex piece that accepts the shaft of your starter? Check for burs on the shaft and inside the starter piece.

Hey Semper!

Which bird do you like better? Your JR VIBE, or your FURY 55??

I know one is a TT tail and the other has a belt driven tail, and thats about all I know so far.

The Fury. Mainly because it has a new OS 55 and has more power. My vibe is the older model with an align 50. I bought the vibe used. I do like the vibe though!

Default Update :)

Hey guys,
i got the O.S .50 SX-H Hyper and CYE Mp5 50 SB installed without problems. Im 99% sure im going with the Outrage servos on cyclic and rudder, running at 7.4V. For the throttle, i want to go with a budget servo, maybe a DS610? Im not too sure for the throttle servo, but if its a budget servo, i doubt im going to be able to run it at 7.4V, but again, im trying to save money and i dont want to buy an expensive, bulky regulator. So i was looking around, and has anyone used a Stepdown Pro from perfectregulators? It seems pretty simple, and the price isnt too bad on it.

Default Big Thanks!

I would like to give a huge thanks to everyone here who helped me with my first heli. I had a little trouble the first few hovers (Vbar tuning, Engine tuning, etc.) But a few of my friends who fly not too far from me gave me some help. Here is my ~15th flight, I don't have the cyclic at the pitch i want, nor the speed, but for now, im just enjoying every minute of this bird. It flies like its on rails with the Vbar 5.3. Still need to get the pro software to get the gov. running, increase the cyclic agility, and "fine tune" the swash plate. Awesome Bird MA! Thanks again to all the people who helped me!
