Default Trex 500 ESP, AR8000, and DX8 wiring help.

Hello guys

I am going through my first build and have a few questions about wiring a AR8000 receiver with my 500 ESP and DX8.

ESC --> THRO
Front Left/pitch (rear view) --> AUX 1
Front Right/Aileron (rear view) --> AILE
Back Right/Elevator (rear view) --> ELEV
Rudder Servo --> RUDD
GP780 Gyro (red, black, and white wire) --> GEAR
GP780 Gyro (yellow wire) --> AUX 2

Is the above information correct?

no put the rudder servo into the female plug coming from the gyro and then

GP780 Gyro (red, black, and white wire) ---> Rudder
GP780 Gyro (yellow wire) --> this is for gyro/rudder gain and it depends on how your TX is setup, if your using the gear channel then yes put this in GEAR or if using the AUX2 put it in the AUX2 slot on the rx

also on some gyros they want you to do some part of the setup without connecting the rudder servo until later in the setup process.

I know for a fact that my GY401 has a female connector in which the gyro goes but the GP780 doesnt. With that in mind, what do I do?

IIRC the 780 gyro doesnt have a pigtail coming out of it to plug the servo into.It has a socket to plug it into the case.It should be next to where the other wires come out of the case.Pigtail goes into Rx and Rudder servo plugs into the 780.

the plug with the yellow single wire is your gyro gain, it goes into the rx either in the gear slot or if you specified in the tx the aux 2 or 3. the other goes into the rudder slot and as posted ealier the rudder servo plugs into the gyro
