Default Raptor E700 CG

Right now I have my 160 up front I like it there keeps the Heli looking clean. But I have an issue no the model is nose heavy with the main packs as far back as they go. Set up is 160hv and mini v. Any ideas on how to move the CG.

I know Nick has his up front so I'm wondering how his is set up

yea, your right. i went through my txt with him and he said he modified the tray to fit it further back. thats because i was gonna use a 160hv. i have a edge 120hv with a bec and battery back-up all upfront and mine balances out perfectly.

I've seen Nick added a bit of weight to the tail (can't remember whether it was his e720 or e700) and Marco from Australia posted the pics of his e700 with weight added to the tail on the other forum:

I put mine on the side, not mainly to get CoG, but to allow me to change packs with the canopy mounted.

Of course, I did crash hard on the side and break one ESC. Later, I crashed hard on the nose and did not break the (new) ESC (in the same position on the side).

I can remember exactly but I think it was only 30 grams I added to the boom to correct CG. Of course it will depend on what gear you run.
But having the weight as far back as possible is best, less is needed for a greater effect.
