Is the MX 400 dying?
Hi all,
I dont have my mx 400 yet. Should I jump now and buy 2 MX 400 for 60$ each at Tower while they last? Anyone knows if they will also kill the MX 400 and only keep the 450 and comming 500? Thanks you,

i've heard from an informed source that they are keeping the mx400 pro and the mx450, but i guess he could be wrong. claims he spoke with a rep from hobbico. at the price they are, i'd do it! i've got the mx450 and i'm considering getting another arf for $150, but for that kind of cash i can get trex 450 se v2 (clones) head and tail from helidirect, as they are built and machined to a higher standard.

According to the Tower Hobbies web site, the Mx400Pro is Discontinued! I would think that the Mx400 will disappear too but who knows...

Sorry man it was my mistake. -- I am the one that spoke with the manufacturer and they did tell me that 1 of the three was going and the other two would "stay around for awhile". I mistakenly said the pro line as a saver -- upon rereading the email it was the 400pro to go and the 400 and 450 as quoted above (staying around for awhile).
Ill send them another email to see and post it here for yous Markus |

You probably know allready but i just got this e-mail from hobbico.
Hello, Thanks for your email. We have discontinued the MX400 Pro, and the MX450 but at this time there hasn't been any talk of discontinuing the MX400 itself. All the upgrade parts are still available and you can make the mx400 a mx450 by putting all the updated parts on the helicopter. |

The pro and 450 arn't good sellers as lhs and online shops push align ships harder. The thing to remember is the first trex was designed by the same people as the x400. and mixing the 2 can give a sweet flying bird.
