Default MKS 8910 tail

I noticed that my tail servo MKS 8910 is pretty hot sitting on the bench. I am not exactly sure how long I had the system on for because I was going through my heli command setting s but I would guess about 10 mins or so... The servo was pretty warm and the mounting bolts for the servo were even hotter. I am running a Hyperion Life pack straight. I know the stats say 4.8 volts on the MKS but I have always ran the Life packs and never had issues on any of my other servos rated for less than 6. There is no Binding , the pulse is set to 760. Also it has a ever so slightly buzzing sound.. It is not loud and it very faint but wanted to mention it. Also the servo is a little twitchy. I have never owned the MKS brand so I know servos very a little... Can someone chime in ?? I bought a Hercules step-down for this initially but while I was installing it one of the solder joints came loose and I was not doing much to make it do so.. From that point I said no way I am gonna put in a failure point so I ditched it.

Would this be for the 8910 or 8910A+ as they are rated differently?

8910 A

Well I found the answer !!! NO do not ever run it on a LIFE or higher than 4.8/5.2. I put a step down on it and got 2 flights out of it and the servo let go. Heli started a piro and the rest you can pretty much guess !!! Sucks !! Guess I did not catch it in time.
