Here's mine. Just got everything mounted and ready to start setup, and my brand new Futaba
8FG quit working, POS. Dadgum jog dial quit working.

I finally finished my build and test hovered this past weekend. A few skookum tweaks and I'm ready to let it spread it's wings so to speak. Take note of the pinned tail picture, there was a pre-drilled/tapped hole there for what I can only assume is pinning. It sounds like that may be a recent kit change.

Really? Would be nice if Outrage sent those out to us first batchers... I still gotta go to a machine shop and get a hole drilled on a press before I maiden.... Lucky for me I have another 2-4 weeks to wait for my motor.

Hey, nice build man... only thing I would re-consider is that satellites location.

Yes, it really was there already. Which sat would you move, and why?

The one that is forward of the pitch servo... Because both antennas are being shielded by the frame reducing the effectiveness of that RX by a large margin. CF is a very good shielding for RF signals...

You want the antennas to be clear of any CF, servo wires, power wires, etc...

Maiden went well today. Had to chase down a tail issue but once I got the tail dialed in, it was great. With this 12s setup this thing is a rocket. I think I'm going to go up one tooth on the pinion because after a 4 minute hover the motor was very hot. But get this, after a 4 minute hover, I only put back 33% in to the batteries.

Hey Hawkins, I saw your thread on Align vs. Outrage. Glad to see you went with the Outrage. I do have a question for you. Did your tail casing already come with a pre drilled hole to pin the boom? I heard an urban legend about the newer kits already having this done by the factory.

Also, just an FYI the only build issue I had was the tail pitch slider did not move freely enough. This caused a tail wag in the heli. I had to just slightly boar out the two connecting rods between the tail grips and the pitch slider. Now this sucker is locked in. How is your build going?
