Loc-tite #242 has worked just fine for me... I wouldn’t use the red stuff up here, it would make breaking the head down a PITA.

I am considering what my next heli should be, this video series has tipped the scale to the outrage over an align 600. Just seeing one built and all the neat features it has was awesome. Thank you very much.

If I run align ds610's on cyclic and a ds650 on the tail would it be ok just to use a BEC pro or would I need a separate rx battery? I would be using the AR8000 with Telemetry.
Thanks,
Seb

Kudos Spindle, im sure you will like them. When you get them you will see what I and others have found regarding a true C rating, that the number printed on the pack is fairly conservative, going for a true C rating instead of an overinflated one.

Thanks sebsmash, I'm glad you liked the review. I would think the BEC Pro would bed fine with those servos. finding a place shouldn't be too tough, as it could go on one of the two front angled surfaces on the nose.

nexgen, how are the hyperion servos working out? I'm considering them for my build.

What are you guys using for blades?
I love radix blades but for the first set I would prefer to get something cheaper,
Are the outrage brand blades for the velocity 50 good for fbl?
For 45 dollars it seems like a great deal, any similarly priced ones you guys are using?
Again these will only be for while I'm testing and setting up, I'll probably switch to radix a couple of months after I get the heli.

So far those servos are working great. They have plenty of torque for fbl. At first I thought they wouldn't be fast enough, but they are working quite nicely. The titanium gears make for a light and strong platform.

Seb,
I run the same servos and before I had my Jive I use the BEC Pro. It worked a treat so you should have no problems what so ever. Oh, I also use telemetry. I think you are going to find that your choice of going to this over the Align was absolutely spot on. Now, I genuinely have nothing against Align, they are great helis without doubt but the Fusion is a clear league above the Align 600 as far as I am concerned.

This will be my first ever complete build.
I have had to rebuild my 500 twice, once was my fault and I recieved it pre-crashed so I can say that I have replaced every part on a heli before.
Is assembly and setup pretty straight forward?
Does the manual do a good job explaining all the steps?

Yeah its a fairly straightforward build. The manual is pretty easy to follow. There are a couple steps however that you kinda need to thumb forward a page to see whats going on.
