So are these pictures from the prototypes still showing up? Or have people found where to buy the kit?

Secondly, is there enough similarity between the 700 and 770 that would allow this setup to work on the 700?

actually I don't know enough about the 700/770 to know the answer to that

I do know that it will fit the 630

If someone would send me a 770 boom and belt I will give you a full report.

I did put a 770 canopy on my Goblin Gasser and it would of fit, I do believe but it was not mine and could not do the cut out on the bottom of canopy.

The 770 would be under powered for 3D but would be a sweet sport flyer,IMO.

Carey... If you have a way of communicating with them could you please ask them for an update? Even a "no not at this time" would be better than leaving everyone hanging by posting no information for months on time.

Or do any of the beta testers have the ability to add any factual information?

Thanks for you help...

Hey Doug,

I 'believe' the only change it effects is the wider drive pulley.
If you can confirm the actual increase I can check the CAD.

Note there is allowance for a 2-3mm increase.

If possible try and find out and ill confirm.

Thanks Joey.

Ok, just watched Bert's Competition upgrade Vid.

Competition Belt is now 19mm not 13mm, Goblin Gasser has capacity up to 16mm or
Standard Industrial 15mm 3MGT belt.

Sorry Competition "Big" belt wont fit : (

Regards Joey.

Converting a "C" back to the narrow belt should be simple.
Thanks for checking for us.

Cool

Since the new 700 comp is based on the larger 770 frame the canopy will not be a direct bolt on unless you buy the 630 comp canopy. Ask me how I know.....

Yes you can, but as we have been hearing about conversion now for close to a year and not seen a production kit i am done holding my breath.

And just remember that low cost Goblin 700 kit that is already not current will be worth even less in 6 months.
