Hi Heim Joint,
thank you for the videos!! I went through my tail looking at the bind points you mentioned and it has really helped out my bird to remove the binding especially in the bushings. You mention that the spacers will fit with two bearings, what size bearing? 1.2mm or 2.0? I'm unsure if I would have space with two 2mm bearings. I am unfamiliar with the Gaui bearing size, hence the question. Cheers, Leslie |

The bearings that will work with the spacer set are a 681X bearing (1.2mm wide). They are the same as the original 2 bearings that were in the first T250's before they changed to the single 2.0mm wide bearing. That 681X size bearing is all over the 250 in various places. The Gaui bearing number I mentioned is a 681X. HEIM JOINT |

The Chinese weights will NOT FIX a sticky tail. They could make a sticky tail worse. They will only greatly reduce the pushrod force on a properly funtioning tail. The preload spacer set will enable you to reduce the slop in your blade grips to a very low level. But in my testing in the video the preload spacer set itself did NOT FIX the high pushrod force problem. I had to replaced the original blade grip bearings and then the pushrod force dropped to the expected 10-12 oz. (without chinese weights). If you have a new single bearing tail you will have to buy 4 of the 681X bearings to use with the preload spacer set. You will also have to trim a little off the blade where it touches the new longer screw that goes thru the bearings. I will post a video here of the preload spacer set install in a few days. Thanks, HJ |

Yes I want both the weights and a spacer kit . When ever you get them ready . I did throw a few washers between my bearings and it did fix some of the slop , but I'd rather just fix it and be done with it. I'll take a set of weights for a 500 too.

The 500 and 600 Kasama pieces are dead on.
Perfect balance. Post the website info soon as you get it... Are you making anything for the 450's?

can we make this a sticky? This should be a sticky. I've entered too many tail servo conversations without knowledge of this only to deliberate over finding any servos with more torque for the same basic cost/size/close-to-speed of the specific-designed tail servos (JR, INO LAB, etc) when those are just fine.
This is a mystery this isn't entirely standard by now, with servo manufacturer's apparently already of the idea that little torque is needed...the heli manufacturer's go with it not realizing that lots of torque, per their own design, is really needed and needs modded..the right way..instead of leading people to go sprawling off into massive servo overkill territory |
