Default Hobbywing 30 amp ESC question

I have the Hobbywing 30 amp ESC and wondering about the motor hook up. On my belt CP the stock ESC and the motor they have a red, blue and black wire. On the Hobby wing ESC they are all blue but marked A, B and C. What is the combination to hook up the Hobbywing ESC to the stock E-Sky motor? All so what programming of the Hobbywing ESC do you recommend for a new comer?
THANKS

Hi 46, this is tricky to write, but will have a go all the same....the pic was a bit blurry.

If you assume the blue wire on the ESC - that is opposite the red wire from the battery, should connect to the red wire of your motor.

Same with Black wire - Black from motor, will go to blue wire that is opposite to the black wire from battery.

Middle blue wire on ESC goes to blue motor wire.

If the motor does not turn the right way, then I understand swapping any two wires shoud fix it. Once you know it is all connected properly, add the heat shrink to ensure it's properly colour coded (Be careful not to short it out while testing motor direction).

I understand sonix and h/wing prog card are same. The setting's I got are
1. Brake = Off
2. Batt type = Li-xx
3. Cut-off type = Soft
4. Cut-off Volt = High
5. Start Mode = Very Soft
6. Timing = Mid (but try low if you get problems)
7. Music = No thanks, all sounds like a retro cell phone!!
8. Gov Mode = Off.

Good luck and let us know if you got any more question's.

Ps. I tell this everyone, but make sure you read about setting the throttle range too. I missed it on the first read when installing my first ESC. Had very low power, barely enough to spin up....2 days later I read the instructions again and figured it out!!!

O NO I now have to opinions and they are both totally different!

I have yet flown my new belt CP as I want to make up grades before I do. The reason I bought the RTF was it comes with a battery and I can use the charger for my Lama V3. I have a much better charger for my belt CP a Align New Li-ion Battery Balance Charger RCC-3CX. I all so am installing a Spektrum DX6i, Telebee gyro, along with the Hobbywing 30amp ESC.

When I learn to hover and fly I will be getting some longer main blades, Some CF parts as I like the way they look and then ESky Belt CP CNC 7075 Best Head combo update set -- silver version from cnchelicopter.com.

I am new to helicopters but have been racing and running RC cars and trucks for years.
Thanks all for the input!

what was the second opinion? if you mean about how to connect the wires what i told you on rcu is correct and yes this pic is blurry i am suppose to be getting a vid cam on my birthday and it will have a better camera to take better pics and video, but if my wires are wrong then they made my hobbywing different then the others. but been flying mine for long time now this way and i always plug the middle wire together and then test which way the the others go on all my helis if your talking about the esc setup i agree with copterboy those are the settings i use with the exception of i do use the music setting just for fun family gets a kick out of it.
