Default MQX Controller board issue

Hi everyone , since yesterday my MQX left back motor started behaving strangely, when you connnect the battery , left back motor engages immediately, starts to spin slowly .After the model binds , the other 3 motors work perfectly.

I already swapped the problem motor , no change, so the issue has to be on the controller board; Has anyone seen this issue before ? Any solution ?

Default mqx 4 in 1

My controller board just stopped working yesterday also. No crash happened or anything. It just stopped. Now, this is AFTER I have already replaced the famous right front motor. The quad will launch sometimes and sometimes it just flips over but either way it is impossible to control. Horizon is sending me a new board.

Sounds like a burnt FET caused by a short in those stupid thin enamel wires. Look at the little black things on the board. Sorry not sure how else to describe them. If any have a burnt mark or like a blister that is most likely the problem.

The mcpx does exactly what you are describing when you smoke an FET on it so that would be my guess. If that is the case it can be fixed for very cheap as long as you are good at soldering.

Good luck hope you get it sorted.

Does anybody know which model of FET this thing uses? I imagine any that matches the specs will do, but I don't know the wiring diagram and hopefully someone knows so that I don't have to actually think it through.

Megastumbler repaired my board. It would bind but none of the motors would spool up. He does great work for little money.

Hello

I have had the same problem than you
The first module 4 in 1 boad had some smoke and one motor never stop turning as soon as the battery is pluged in even if the stik for the throttle is down.
The other motors are working perfectly. I also tried to swap with an other motor and the same thing happened: never stop running.

I thought my module was out of order so I bought a new one. After 5 minutes of nice hover, the mqx felt down and the same motor was running at full efficiency so I think I have a shortcut in the wire that creates a problem and burn the fet I think.

Do you know where is the FET to be changed?, I do not what would I do, buy a new board but if I did not identify the root cause, I fear that the FET will burn again, maybe I should change the wire that goes to the motor

Thank you for your help

And srry for my approx englsh

Should change the boom on that motor that spins on connection. The wire is probably shorted and will just keep burning FETs.
