Default Inactivity Alarm?

Am I missing something simple here?

I would like to create an alarm for if my DS-16 is inactive for X amount of time.

Anyone figure this out?

To clarify my question...
If I walk away from my DX8 and forget to power it off, it vibrates and beeps and makes a real fuss until I turn it off or move the sticks.

Anyone figure out how to get our DS-16's to throw a fit if we 'neglect' them?

I don't often leave my Tx on without knowing, but when the DX8 went off, it was normally because I had forgotten about it, one time I was on my way home in the car and I heard this thing while on the highway, oops, that's the DX8!

So I would also like to have this alarm on the DS-16

Unless you silence it, don't you get the beeps from losing connection to the receiver? I used to always forget to turn off my DX8 but I've yet to forget the Jeti because of that.

Only if you had a connection to a receiver in the first place.

And then, only if the volume is not turned down.

The Jeti has an inactivity alarm. Just leave it for a while and see

Without a vibrate function, or a speaker volume over-ride, the solution for after flight is training myself NOT to reduce the volume after flights walking back to the pits to power down the heli. A little annoying, but this will work for me, I treat an armed heli like a loaded gun

If you walk away from your heli and it's still powered up (before or after flight), no warning.
A time based inactivity alarm with volume over-ride would be valuable in this case, though hopefully infrequent, since it's the most dangerous.

I think this is where having the possibility to turn on the ESC remotely makes it a safety feature. I can never walk away before or after the flight with the heli on.
It is a habit I put the heli on the take off strip and walk to the pilot standing area, I turn on the Esc with a locking switch, my model name is called and engine on is called too. I land I turn the ESC off "engine off". A routine is always the best.

It becomes like my car alarm if I don't hear it when I walk away something is wrong now I cannot walk away from my heli without engine off being called.

I have done the same now for all my birds and planes including nitros (throttle stick activation). It is just like the old habits to always turn on Tx first than the Rx. I still do the same but with more lag in between. Turn on the Tx ......Flip the Esc on

Now as far as not forgetting to turn off your Tx that is an other story. But it is not a big nono in my book except for shortening your day at the field
