I am liking hat cam a lot, well done, but I am liking your heli stability and your flying more. Good stuff, even better.

Very nice, but what does 'hat cam' look like?

Jack,

meant to tell you...Thanks SO much for the advice on the mCX. My daughter loves it. It's her fave xmas present. Little bugger takes a beating too. She thinks she's all Sierra Hotel with doing piros and flying it nose in already. I'm half tempted to let her scare the crap out of herself with the rex tomorrow. LOL

I'll try to get some video tomorrow. Have to get her new AA's for the charger. She's gone through them already. I bought 3 lipos for it and she's charged and flown each one at least 5 times.

It amazing how fast kids can learn to fly with a little encouragement! She'll be looping your Trex before you know it.

My mCX got more flight time over Christmas than any of my other helis have ever seen. The kids pretty much worn the poor thing out!

Very simple but effective design! Way to use what's under the hat! I just need to figure out how to mount a standard digi camera to a hat!

Don't be so hard on yourself! There is only one way to do it. Practice, crash, rebuild, repeat! I can't even count the number of times I've crashed and as you know still crashing! Yes I said Celebrate the small victories my time in the air is better every time! Take it a step at a time. First just practice going straight forward and back getting further as confidence builds! Next step just do half turns and then back to tail in until you are comfortable with that keeping the forward and back movement. Next practice the $#!^ out of nose in on the sim to get a good feel of the motions(you dont need to perfect it) Then try a full circut! BTW I would still like to see a vid anyway! How can we encourage you if we dont know where to start! I know your bird is up to speed and we're not here to judge so let's see that sweet bird of yours in the air!

Hatcam at the Footy oval.
This is the best video I got. The 450 is too hard to see at a distance so that video had to be deleted. The 500 is OK but not great as you can see.
Might give it one more go, I found a big finger print on the lense.
Maybe I can get it a little clearer.
Anyway enjoy.

Wow I really need to fly my T500 more. That's really fast flying.

Can't wait to get the EXI up and running and the weather to get better so I can fly all the time. I remember the first time I took my belt cp to the field, I flew like that (Big, fast figure 8's) But then I had a big set back in confidence for some reason and now I suck lol. Just need to go to the field more fluently to retain my confidence

I'm not worrying about it though because I got all the time in the world to get better at it, and I can see some really good flying coming up in the near future Just got to make it happen.

Course, course. That's my main objective. Get atleast 3 batts for each heli (But 4 each if possible). Atm, I got two batt's for the EXI (One of them from Gerd, Thank you) And two batts for the T500. (Two 3s in a series and the outrage 3000 pack)

I suppose I could use the two x 3s packs I am using in a series as two seperate packs for the 450 but then they might get different a different amount of cycles.
