Are you thinking of a standard block or a block incorporating the swash driver in standard height. We could do this too if people are interested.

Once a few reviews come in I may jump on this. Im hard pressed to drop a benji if there is no perceivable performance increase.

FYI, I have had the I2 RC head on my Logo for over a year now which appears to be about the same height as this setup. The risk of a boom strike is fairly low with 623s but it becomes significant when you stretch to a 600se and 693s. If you run a lowered head, I suggest running your blades a bit tighter than normal, especially if you have a 600se.

What I don't understand is why your main shaft must be cut and redrilled when my I2 head does not. My I2 head appears to be at approximately the same height as yours.

[QUOTE=BennyTRD;3335505]Ken has a set right now that he is putting on his 600. I would imagine that he will take a few sets to have in stock, but not 100% at this point.

I doubt the swash would go up that high to get the arms so that they wouldn't bind on the negative side. You could make up some links I suppose to accomplish this though. Is your concern more that you have an abundance of main shafts around?

I do have a few Main Shafts but more worry about future source, running out, not doing them anymore or whatever the case. I still crash more than I would like to admit so may need a shaft or two per month.
If you can do a version with swash driver incorporated using stock shaft/links I am in for an order right away.
I hate messing with getting phasing right.

Looks nice Benny! Price is fair considering whats involved. I just can see the performance gain though. Didn't we go through a lowered head phase already on Logos and the conclusion was no real advantage. Could be wrong though.

Either way looks nice Perhaps if I ever have that bad crash .....

It looks to me like the I2 head has a lowered shaft as well. Just look at the Jesus bolt hole location compared to the stock head. I can't see how a stock length shaft would fit in that head.

Also on thier website they seem to Include a mainshaft with their head. I'd be interested to see the actual length of it compared to the stock 4075 Mikado shafts.

I'm going to send a kit to one of the best pilots I know who is interested. I'll see if he can fly his 500 stock first, then swap the head parts and try it again. If anyone can tell a difference it will be Greg for sure.

To be honest, I never noticed a performance gain, but I do like the way the heli's look afterwards and never having to worry about my phasing being slightly off. Im also no pro pilot either that can usually pick these slight differences out.

I'd be interested in a standard height head block too.

Could a few fellas that are interested in the stock height head with swash built in take an accurate measurement from the bottom of the stock headblock to the top of the swash driver on a 500/600 setup... All the logo's here have been converted

If a couple of guys can take a good measurement I will work up a version for stock height and stock parts...

Chris...

Chris, I'm also interested in a stock head with built-in swash driver.

I measured 25mm on my Logo 500 head.

I’m also interested in a head that can take stock main shafts. I’m always paranoid that my phasing is not 100% with the v-bar head, this should solve the problem and simplify things a lot.

I'd also be interested in the stock height head as I can continue to use the hardened mainshafts. I noticed you're using the non-hardened shafts with the c-clip. Is that because they're easier to machine?

Perhap Mikado couls make a scaled down Xxtreme head for my Logo 400.

I've still got a complete stock head kicking around. We'll get it all measured up and see what we can come up with. Thanks for all the interest everyone.
