Problems using the CPS BnF with a DX7 (old version)

I have problems accessing the full functionality of the CPS together with my DX7. I can bind and fly it and even perform the drift calibration sequence successfully, but it seems to stay in stability mode, no matter the position of the stunt switch.

From the DX6i setup in the manual I get the impression that a gyro gain of 90% will set the CPS in safe mode and 15% will set it in agile- or 3D mode but it doesn`t seem to work with the DX7. Any ideas anyone?

I imagine you've figured it out now, but for the edification of anyone finding this later:
The idea is to get channel 5 to 100, 0, -100 for stability, agility, and 3D respectively, and to add -40 to each for panic mode (+40 seems to work also)

On the DX7 this requires two mixes
MIX2 AUX2->GEAR, 100,100, ON, 0
MIX3 GEAR->GEAR, 100, 20, ON, 100 (like for the DX7s, though there are other ways to do this. 0, 40, ON, 0 also works, I think)
Your GEAR switch is your panic.

in Input Select, AUX2 should be F.MOD and GEAR should be INH

The OP then talks about a CPS (several times)

Nybbler then gives an answer that reads to me as relevant to a Nano QX 3D (Quad).

AFAIK............Nano's come in CPX (heli), QX (Quad) QX FPV (Quad with FPV camera) and QX 3D (which i don't have yet)

Put me out of my misery, Is it me?

Subsequently.............found out CPS exists, but not where I am!!!! Understand now where Nybblers reply comes from................but why is this not in the CPS section.!!
