Default What Mainshaft 700n le fbl conversion
Hi, I have an old 700n le , wider frames, and want
To install the newer fbl head, red/silver one. Which mainshaft fits best?
The one I have is shorter than the original fbl head one and fits but It sticks out below auto gear not sure if this matters either????

The DFC main mast is used for the DFC, FL and the 3-bladed head.

That is most likely a DFC main mast. The DFC mast is longer from the welded ring down and shorter from the welded ring up.
There is/was a 3rd bearing kit from KDE Direct that would support the longer tail-shaft (sticks out below the autorotation gear). Align never had a 700N with that bearing.
If that main mast is (basically) a DFC mainmast, it should be fine from the welded collar up to the jesus bolt / screws.
