Yes the CP2 goes in between the 3G and the RcRx.
It basically looks like this

SERVO ---->3G---->CP2---->RcRx

Because it was a 7 channel RcRx and the Trex 700N had a governor (which means all the channels were taken up) - I used the tail gyro gain channel for the 'ON/OFF' switch - pretty much as described in NightFlyr's sticky.

Did not use the RCV4.

Hey , this is my Trex 500 esp flybarless with Fma Co-pilot II , flies and like a dream , setup was like @markespina said, SERVO - 3G - FMA CO-PILOT ll - RECEIVER and thats it.
