Default Titan x50B

Well, I took the plunge. I found a brand new in the box x50B for $300.00. I could not pass it up.

Right, I don't fly nitro anymore. But I still try to keep up on all new posts with the exception of the micro helis.

I have almost finished the build. I still like the ball links, mounting the servos and receiver, and then go through the set up. May be I'll get to test fly tomorrow.

From what I've been reading, it's best to run 600mm blades on a x50 with a os 50sx h. Anybody agree with that.

I would definitely not go longer than 600mm with a .50.

Ok, I created my own spm for the DX7s and it works for me. I purchased one of the all metal tail units and that is an awesome piece of work. I'm thinking about buying two more for a R50 and a R30. The part number is PV1411. This is the belt drive version.

Last Sunday, I was lucky and won the bid for a new X50B,NIB, for $250.00 on eBAY. I ordered the TT Flybarless head and the rest of the heli I'm going to keep totally stock. Maybe, I'll by an aftermarket canopy too.

Regards

Tr911,

Had I known it was you that I was bidding against, I would have let you win

Ahh, it's ok, I already have one. I just did not want it to sell for less. I paid 300 for one a couple weeks ago from here. Thanks though....

I purchased the metal tail for the belt drive and put it on today. Really smooth and crisp.
