I recently purchased a like new barely used 300x bind and fly. Stock servos esc motor and ar7200bx fbls controller. Ive been out of the game for some time and i have several questions. Firstly why is it everytime i research dx6 setup there is no listing? In the manual it gives you dx6i , 7 ,8 ,9 etc etc but no instructions for dx6. What is it with this radio??? I did some research and i found out the settings are the same as the dx8. So away i go put in the settings. Bind it up all servos going in the correct direction everything looks good i spool it up wont lift just spins in a circle. I contact the seller he says i should not have to re program the ar 7200 bx. Didnt elaborate any further. What am i doing wrong here and again why is it so hard to find any info on dx6 radios????

I would go through the tail set-up in the beast at least, and me personally I would go through the whole flybarless set up when setting up a new radio. I wouldn't rely on another's settings.
Make sure your tail slider is centered with servo horn at 90 degrees, adjusting horn on spline position and sub trim.
Set tail endpoints and ensure gyro response is correct (pitch in to the movement) and control stick direction is correct, you may have to reverse the tail servo.
Hopefully you'll go through the whole setup for the beast. Even if you're not used to it, you can do it in less than an hour.

First, I believe that the 300X was already discontinued before the DX6 was released. So I doubt that you will find a setup for the 300X from the manufacturer specifically for the Dx6. But there really shouldn't be that much difference in setup for the 300x between the two radios.

Second, Calibrating the servo endpoints would probably be necessary on any model when changing radio's. Regardless, checking these calibrations will most likely solve any of your problems. Assuming all the other parameters are set correctly. I would at least check the following parameters for accuracy. Make absolutely sure that you have UNTOUCHED (linear) throttle and pitch curves to do this calibration.

Check:
Parameter E - Tai Servo Endpoints
Parameter G - Swash Servo Center
Parameter K - Collective Pitch Range
Parameter L - Cyclic Swash Limit.

Once you've learned how to check these parameter, you should be able to diagnose any problems.

Hope this helps.
